About Happy Smarties Academy

Happy Smarties Academy is a Non-profit English-medium learning centre based in Ekukhanyeni Section, Gedhlembane, Pienaar. We offer high quality education and nurturing care to babies, toddlers and children between the ages of 0 to 6 years.

Our purpose is for our children to be able to access any school of their choice when they leave our Academy without being prejudiced by the barrier of language, among other things. We at Happy Smarties aim to create a child-friendly environment where young ones can learn and play while still expressing their individuality. Our teachers are vetted to work with children and are either fully qualified or currently studying to qualify in the field of Early Childhood Development.

The value we place on your child’s education and care is our driving force. We understand the importance of clear, open and regular communication through a number of channels and we focus on ensuring that our role-players and stake holders involved in the development of our children are included in the education process, instilling a feeling of belonging and a sense of ownership of the processes employed to educate our children.

Happy Smarties Academy dedicates its efforts and resources toward ensuring an environment for children to learn important skills and core capabilities such as language, emotional and social skills to enhance each child’s unique potential.

Our vision is to present an exciting and balanced curriculum to optimise each child’s unique potential. Our curriculum is expertly designed to spark the inherent creativity in little ones, and it is the perfect way to heighten your little one’s development and get them learning ready.

Our Teachers

Happy Smarties Academy teachers are well trained and qualified to bring the fun back to learning and will guide your little one in exploring our science-backed play-to-learn program. They are there to nurture and support your little ones, providing the individual attention they need in small groups where they are free to be themselves and explore their unique potential.

Our Team

Our teachers have between them 10 years of experience in the Early Childhood Development field. Each one has been selected to be part of our orgnisation because of the love and passion they have for children.
